  1. One day both of them will be the best player in the world…i like Ruud forehand during RG final. Rafa knew Ruud strength, so he gave ruud more to backhand side..😅

Si no, malamente.

  4. I can’t imagine how these players play back to back 6-7 matches, which are as intense as this one and especially best of 5sets. Even winning a single point will be so hard for a average person.😱

  5. Ruud is looking like a dark horse for Wimbledon. I hardly see any holes in his game and will be tough to beat. All the best!

  6. Los jugadores españoles sólo podrán jugar en tierra,en la otras superficies son perdidos, ahora si no fuese por el dopping hasta en tierra batida no rendirán bien

  7. could be a huge weakness of alcaraz playing on grass. that seems to need a lot of work for the future.

  8. Guys, this is an exhibition tourn! Alcaraz might not look that good right now, but it's obvious he isn't even playing at 60%. That being said, ofc he doesn't look as sharp as he did on clay and hard. He is only 19! He might not want to show his hand though. It's never bad getting underestimated, when you're an unknown quantity(which he is on grass).

  9. This was just an exhibition tournament. Alcaraz wasn’t giving his all but that being said, he has a lot of work to do before he will be a threat on grass.

  10. Not sure they learn much by practicing grass court tennis against a clay court specialist (or clay/hard in the case of Alcaraz).

  11. maybe alcaraz has been partying like a rock star ever since his newly found wealth and fame, and practicing less.

  12. GRASS is not CLAY….Alcaraz did not look like the same guy from 2 months ago….reminds me of another pretty good clay player who learned to transition to grass (with mixed results)

  13. Watching players who excel on other surfaces then play on grass it seems almost like a completely different game. Maybe also the camera angle at court level. The game looks more difficult and the ball seems to be heavier with a flat sound after contact with the racket. Anyway maybe most of that is just my perception due to camera angle & sound. Alcaraz certainly was not playing up to his expected standard. None of the consistent powerful ground strokes or delicate touch and brilliant net play being demonstrated in this match. I really hope over the years that his game does translate well on the grass courts and would love to see him play many fine games at Wimbledon.

  14. Alcaraz looked poor, shocking returning from him especially. Forehand was a bit shaky at times too, the strap on the elbow worries me a bit, especially at this age, and it’s not for the first time either…
Ruud on the other hand, while definitely not all that great on grass, was serving exceptionally well, losing only 4 points on serve the entire 1st set and not facing a break point all match. He also returned well and hit some nice backhand slices and forehands. Given how his game doesn’t really translate well on grass at all, he looked pretty strong despite it being “only” an exhibition, was in total control and never looked like losing just a set. Maybe won’t lose first round at Wimby, defo looked like that during the matches against Peniston and Bergs…
