  1. I feel pity for nick heidfeld. I see what he attempt to show another world record by bringing new FE car that even will used for race in next season. If this gonna work, it'll be amazing another world record, clearly seen by time record in the half of race, he's the fastest. Juuust if there's no mechanical problem, sure this gonna be clever attemp

  2. 39:31 When I first saw the video of the McMurtry Speirling speeding past this portion of the track, I really thought someone had put the video in fast-forward. The speed at which this car flies past is just absurd. The tiniest fastest car on Goodwood ever. Unreal.

  3. What an absolute legend that 911 GTE is. The contrast between that and the electric car straight after…

  4. Electric along with fan suction technology takes the win huh…
    I'll still forever be a petrol/combustion HEAD. 💪🏾
Great race always loves Goodwood, how could you not!

  5. "Full shootout" but there's already a V8 Supercar with the fastest time before this video starts???

  6. The scary thing is they limited the the top speed to 150mph, max said in an interview that with a few planned tweaks, it can go faster still……

  7. How about inviting some real hillclibing competitors from European Hillclimbing Championship? Christian Merli with Osella and Karl Shagerl Golf Rallye can both break that record easily

  8. Mildly warm take: Travis Pastrana is the single most underrated/underappreciated driver at FoS. The traditional racing drivers and rally drivers get recognition for being great drivers (as they should do). James Deane and Co in the drift cars are finally getting recognition they deserve and obviously legends are legends (e.g Nigel Mansell).

But Travis is probably one of the best, and bravest drivers in the world. Look at his FoS runs, then also the insane stunts he's done for Hoonigan. That man is an absolute lunatic and deserves more recognition for how much he pushes the limits

  9. Normally one of the few things I sit down with my family and enjoy as it's the only car related thing we all bond over. Why? cause it's a rolling history showing all the beautiful old Grand Prix racers to the rapid machines of the now.

not just the fact that none of the cool old cars where shown, normally the whole video is none stop action, but instead alot of wasted time in between runs too.

very disappointing shoot-out video, especially for those in time zones and schedules who can't catch the live to see the historical cars.
    really disappointed

  10. Always gotta love the GW FOS! The hisotry and the variety its just overwhelming for racing fans who are interested in many of the series presented!

  11. 31:45 Thank you that you talk about >SABINE SCHMITZ< "I do it faster in a van"! RIP. the Queen from Nürburgring!! We miss you sooooo much!! Thank you for that very good information around that special place for all driver and car/bike Fans! Sorry for my bad english best wish Reiner from Germany

  12. Big horsepower and no aero for me, I want to hear the car work and see the driver trying hard. Could watch that r32 gtr all day. Electric might be quick as far as the clock is concerned but it’s like watching grass grow from an entertainment pov.

  13. Electric cars should be in a seperate category. Absolutely irrelevant to have f1 and Le Mans type vehicles compete against brand new tech.

  14. What a shame we didn't get to see the Australian Commodore V8 go up the hill especially as it outperformed a number of more technically advanced cars… and who doesn't love the sound of them sexy Australian V8's! Love this event, best on the planet…
