  1. I’m glad if this helps someone but to me it’s misleading. You need your right hand to go thru impact. I think it needs to be restated

  2. Hi Alex, found this channel and absolutely love it! Having a more holistic ”feel based” approach to the golf swing just saved my golf which was spiralling down into a youtube swamp, binge watching 85 videos of ”right wrist angle in down swing”… Thanks 🙏🏻

  3. Great tip. I tried something similar on the range today because I have been hitting the ball all over the place. It really helped. My swing thought wasn't the wrist but I can see where that is a better approach.

  4. Dear Alex, this is undoubtedly one of your best videos! Yesterday I tried to implement this on a foreign golf course. Of course I couldn't do it all the time, but I got an exciting idea of how incredibly good this approach of yours is! Phenomenal! Thank you for this video – the presentation is also totally great! Five stars! Best regards Andrew

  5. That’s a great video, very helpful to me as I’ve been trying this but your explanation and tips have made it really clear. Thank you.

  6. love it. I use so little wrist that I think I actually need to hinge mine more through the ball on my drives. I have been hitting a slice all yr. Used to hit a draw back in the day. Don't have a huge outside to in swing. I think I just come across it and block it. In my case maybe a little hinge through the ball would be a good idea? Lol. I have no clue.

  7. I'm Having a nightmare at the moment I'm putting effort in but just getting worse I reckon I'm trying to do both types of golf swing rotating the body to drive the arms and then trying to rotate my fore arms and now just hitting behind the ball and my backs killing 😅

  8. Habit, Habit Habit. Practice, Practice, Practice. I have had a casting problem (habit) for years until I started using this technique. I still have a casting problem but it is less now and with practice I do hit the ball with more consistency. Also, as my confidence in the technique increases I am gaining a little distance. Not much, but a little.

  9. Alex – I’ve been quietly following you for a couple of months and I’ve got to say this video is a revelation. My ballstriking has transformed in one lesson. Thank you so very much 🙏

  10. Hi from Oz, Great tip Alex. I have a few comments. Sam Snead spoke of having ‘oily wrists’. Payne Stewart said he had 10,000 to remember on the range and 10,000 things to forget on the course where the only thing to remember is the target. Lastly, if you loose any more weight your sponsors will need to send you some new shorts. Keep up the great work.

  11. 40 years of golf. High low and medium handicaps along the way. Great video. Grip pressure and wrists I have found have had the greatest effect in my golf. For ME my best golf happens when I find the grip pressure that works the free up the motion. More pressure in the left and very slight in the fingers of the right hand. There must be a device that measures grip pressure …it’s so subtle that it varies from shot to shot. Like your video on the back to the target for slightly longer.

  12. This is hilarious, can you imagine any throwing movement chain with no wrists, no-one with a decent 'tries' to or tries not to do any part of that chain…..seems like you just randomly grab any aspect and make a video…..random

  13. Excellent as usual ! As a long time player, I can say that a good way to use core+ wrists without exaggeration is to practice with the ball upper the feet. You have to do a simple rotation and the wrists work but just the way they must. The most important word in this very helpful vid is : FLOW! That’s the key! Merci Sir!

  14. Another great video! This is great verification because I’ve been working on this exact thing and my ball striking has been so much better lately. As I’m watching this, I thought “it’s just like Steve Stricker” and a few minutes later, you mention him! Great minds think alike. 😂
