This is the Best Match in Yuji Nishida’s Volleyball Career !!! A few days ago in the volleyball nations league 2022, a volleyball match was played between the volleyball team Japan and Italy. Yuji Nishida then played perhaps the best match of his career, scoring 28 points and bringing Japan victory in a great way. It remains to be seen how Yuji Nishida will fare in Men’s VNL 2022.

Yuji Nishida (西田 有志, Nishida Yūji, born 30 January 2000) is a Japanese male volleyball player. Currently, he plays for JTEKT Stings in V.League Division 1.

Nishida made his debut with JTEKT Stings at V.League on 6 January 2018 in a match against Osaka Blazers Sakai. His impressive debut at the young age of 17 soon earned him a position in JTEKT’s Starting 6,[3] as well as Japan men’s national volleyball team. Nishida also led the team finishing 7th place after 29 years, in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Nishida transferred to play in Italian Volleyball League for 2021–22 season.[8][9][10] He took MVP awards of the matches for 3 times despite the injury and 2-month recovery. Furthermore, he helped his team, Volley Callipo, in many matches that made him became the highest scorer of the team. The highest score that he ever done was 29 points and scored the most aces in one match of the league’s first round, 2021/22 season, with 8 aces.

On April 4, 2022, Japan Volleyball Association (JVA) announced the 2022 Japanese roster for competing in Nations League, Asian Games and World Championship. Nishida had the name among 35-player roster after didn’t join the team in 2021 Asian Men’s Volleyball Championship tournament last year, due to his preparation for Italian league and the injury. His national team jersey number changed from No.11 to No.1.

On June, 1, JTEKT Stings announced that Nishida would joint the club again for Season 2022–23.
