  1. I'm an EMT, we were out there today on standby next to the finish line and we were a bit back from the track so we couldn't see anything before the finish line from our squad. When I heard this happen over the radio I was thinking we were going to be transporting one or both of drivers, until it became more clear that there wasn't actually any collision.

  2. With today's economy and especially gas prices this is an activity that should be stopped permanently. All you fools can find something else as a substitute for viagra!

  3. that was close! Last time that happened Kenny was disqualified and banned from the NHRA and Old John Force landed in the hospital. The last time this happened was Dallas 2007 Kenny hit Old John Force both car broke in half and John landed in the hospital. Capps managed to get clear in time but Dale is disqualified and the emergency chutes are out. If Capps did not blow those emergency chutes this would have ended in disaster.

  4. Wow that was close but doesn’t compare to when Ron stopped the car sideways at one of the races and didn’t impact into anything!!! But it’s surely got the adrenaline flowing!!!!!

  5. WOW!!!! If it had been any other driver next to Capps, it'd of been worse (there is always luck involved) but man, he had essentially 4 cylinders dead and the other 4 firing and it just THREW him in front of Capps!

I am (obviously) VERYY glad it was only a close call!! Capps was off the throttle SOO fast..! There is a reason he is one of the absolute best out there!!!

  6. I can't imagine the feeling a driver gets in their chest when they cross the center line.. incredible driving to keep everyone safe.
