Steve, I do think about my own children, and I own guns so that I can protect them if I need to. My guns haven't killed anyone. We need schools to be better protected. What we don't need is innocent, responsible citizens to be disarmed. If you're tired of getting up in front of the world to offer condolences to families that lose someone in some sort of tragic event, you don't have to. You chose to do this yourself, so don't tell us how sick of it you are when we didn't expect you to do so in the first place. Don't use victims to push your political agenda. Do you live in a gated community? Do you have armed security protecting you during games? Well guess what, our kids in schools do not have that protection which makes them easy targets for evil people.
