I just bought a used set of jpx pro 800 for 250 and feel great
Just not enough marketing they still make one of the best irons and best looking drivers ever.
I was shocked at how good their wedge feel shit felt solid as hell only thing came close were RC and Cleveland wedges.
They have far less store in my country than any mainstream brands it's kinda sad because I want to buy their product but couldn't same thing with online stores they just don't carry Mizuno clubs it looks like they're more interested in selling running/football shoes and baseball gloves than golf clubs nowadays.
I looking to try out ST180 and more importantly their irons been dying to get my hands on one new or not.

very similar club to this one is the tommy armor evo cavity, looks almost identical and i scored a set on ebay for $35

Thanks for the review SAS. Would be great if you could get your hands on last year's Srixon ZX4 irons. Starting to see some crazy deals on them in Canada, they seem to be really underrated and would be perfect for high/mid handicappers
Simon, whats your thoughts on the non forged models e.g. 919/921 HM & HMP. Do you think the mid handicapper will "benefit" in Forged or will the HM/HMP offer a better experience?
Purchased a set of these earlier 2021 when I took up golf, £400 for 4 – PW from golf bidder, they are great, me not so much, but them I can’t fault, possibly not as forgiving as others but good hits go so well.
I just got a mizuno set this weekend for $199 I got $110 trade in for my old clubs so $90 I love them
OMG. I agree from the 900s onwards are awesome looking. But were outside my budget. So ended buying Srixon at a steal. I'd still love to own a set of Mizuno 900s or 919 forgeds tho. 👍👍👍

I bought a set of Tommy Armour Forged Atomic irons for $150 relatively new 4-GW about 18 months ago. They are so forgiving and soft feeling for a 15 handicapper. Simon have you ever hit these? Really wish you could get a chance. Great channel. Thanks.
Simon, the club market definitely seems to be cooling. What a difference 12 months makes, will we ever see a heated club market, that 2021 brought, ever again?

Well this is the problem. I pre ordered the JPX 921 forged irons 4-9 irons. Spent MONTHS researching these irons. ALL the literature pitched these irons as Chromoly infused irons. When I got them in the mail, I was astonished to see the 8-9 irons as regular 1025E. So out of the 6 irons purchased, I was only paying for the tech in just over half of them. I was irate. I contacted Mizuno, infuriated, and got a reply from Chris Voshall. He told me it was decided “very early” in the process that the scoring irons were to be regular 1025E, citing COR as the reason why. He flat out admitted that Mizuno LIED to the consumer, simply saying it’ll never happen again. I honestly was hoping for my money back. That is beyond dirty on Chris’ and Mizuno’s part. Very dirty.
I bought a set for those exact same Mizuno's last year for really cheap (less than 400$ US). I changed the grip but that was all that needed to be done. I never had high end irons before, so those are without a doubt the best irons I ever had (I liked the cobra S2 forged I had before but it does not compare to this at all).
I got these a year ago, love them I'm still amazed how terrible strikes still seem to go the distance.

I bought underrated MP-15s in excellent condition prior to the pandemic. Outstanding clubs but now goin for 3x the price I paid. Timing is everything which is why your channel is perfect for people looking for quality clubs without the premium price tag.
I either have mx-23 or 25 and damn I love them. When I get into the groove and actually play regularly I love them.
I picked up some JPX 900 Forged irons this year for a great deal at a second hand golf shop in Japan and I absolute love them.
