Marshal Lin Biao died in plane crash

On September 13, 1971, Marshal Lin Biao’s special plane crashed in Wendurhan, Mongolia. A total of nine people including Lin Biao, Ye Qun, Lin Liguo, Liu Peifeng, Lin Biao’s driver Yang Zhenggang and crew member Pan Jingyin were killed.
This incident was called the September 13 Incident, and the true cause of the incident remains a mystery.
There are different opinions on the cause of death of Lin Biao, Mao Zedong’s designated successor, in the crash, including that after Lin Biao was killed, he was put on the plane and then made a crash certificate; he was shot down by a Soviet anti-aircraft missile; he crashed due to lack of fuel; former Soviet agent Peter Hannam ruled out these possibilities after interviewing witnesses and investigators from that year. What puzzled him was that when Lin Biao’s plane landed, the pilot did not use speed brakes and other deceleration devices, so that when the plane touched the ground, the speed reached 550 kilometers per hour. ; If the pilot had reduced the speed of the aircraft at that time, the possibility of a safe landing was very high, because most of the landing sites were wide and flat basins.
Marshal Zhu De’s body was charred after death
After Marshal Zhu De died, his whole body was charred. (Internet picture)
At the Lushan Conference, Zhu De sympathized with Peng Dehuai, and there was a rift between Mao and Zhu. During the Cultural Revolution, Mao Zedong positioned Zhu De as “China’s number one warlord” and was once fought by the Red Guards. In 1976, when he was over ninety years old, his health was still better than that of Mao Zedong, who was dying.
On June 21, 1976, Zhu De met with Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Fraser. Zhu De followed his usual habit of arriving half an hour early and waiting. It was hot summer, but there was no air conditioning in the room. The heat was unbearable and sweat was pouring down like rain. After a long time, the air conditioner suddenly turned on. The temperature was extremely low and getting colder. The foreign guests did not show up, and there was no news from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He had to wait in the lounge. The 90-year-old Zhu De had to wait for more than two hours while being heated first and then frozen. After questioning, I was told that the meeting time had been changed to 4:30. Zhu De waited until the foreign guests arrived and did not go home until the meeting was over. He stayed alone in the air-conditioned assembly hall for nearly an hour. Not long after returning home, I felt unwell.
Zhu De’s condition worsened day by day, and he died more than ten days later. Afterwards, the Zhu family felt that something was fishy and asked for verification, but learned that the doctor on duty who treated Zhu De had died suddenly.
Zhu De died on July 6, 1976. There was a rule at Zhu De’s memorial service that no one was allowed to remove the party flag covering the body. At that time, everyone including Zhu De’s relatives and friends abided by this “iron discipline”, but Lieutenant General Pi Dingjun, commander of the Fuzhou Military Region, violated the regulations. I don’t know if I don’t see it, I’m shocked when I see it. After removing the party flag covering Zhu De’s body, Zhu De’s face turned black under the red party flag, and his exposed hands were also scorched black, which are typical signs of severe poisoning.
Pi Dingjun had an idea, and the next day he quietly returned to Fuzhou on a special plane with his secretary, guards and accompanying guards from the 8341 unit.
Pi DingjunLieutenant General crashed into mountain and died
On July 14, 1976, major newspapers published a news release from Xinhua News Agency. Fuzhou Military Region Commander Pi Dingjun unfortunately “died in the line of duty” at 11:15 on July 7. According to reports, Pi Dingjun was killed when his plane crashed into a mountain while he was going to participate in a military exercise between the three armies on Dongshan Island.
The party media reported that due to dark clouds covering the sun and strong air currents, the plane unfortunately collided with the top of a mountain. The plane crashed and everyone died. Pi Dingjun died in the line of duty. None of the accompanying cadres and his son who had just stepped out of college survived. .
However, the weather was clear on the day Pi Dingjun died. The Zao Mountain in Zhangpu County above Fujian is only 400 meters high, so normal flights would not hit the mountain. After the incident, the Zhangzhou Military Division sent more than 50 soldiers, together with the Zhangpu Public Security Director and two Soviet experts (the planes were manufactured by the former Soviet Union), to search the mountain area for more than ten kilometers. Mountain traces. In addition to Pi Dingjun and his son, three of Pi’s secretaries and bodyguards, the pilot and co-pilot, and two members of the 8341 unit were also killed on board. Except for the driver and co-pilot, 6 of the remaining 7 people had their weapons fired.
There are different versions of the truth about Pi Dingjun’s death, but judging from the time of his violent death and the events surrounding it, it is clear that he was silenced.
Lieutenant General Tan Furen was shot dead at his home
It was around 4 o’clock in the morning on December 17, 1970. The mist was thick, the morning light had not yet appeared, and everything was completely silent. Several dull gunshots came from Building No. 42 of the heavily guarded Kunming Military Region compound. Then came the shocking news: Tan Furen, the founding Lieutenant General, then political commissar of the Kunming Military Region, and director of the Yunnan Provincial Revolutionary Committee, and his wife Wang Liyan were assassinated at their residence.
After the incident, after seven years of reconnaissance and repeated verification by two special teams, it was not until June 1978 that a conclusion was made that the murder of Tan Furen and his wife was the work of Wang Zizheng, then deputy section chief of the Security Section of the Military Region Security Department. .
Before Tan Furen was shot dead, the first secretary of the Party Committee of the Kunming Military Region, the first political commissar of the Kunming Military Region, and the director of the Yunnan Provincial Revolutionary Committee suddenly received a secret cable from Beijing, instructing Tan Furen to fly a plane from Myanmar on a certain day in a certain month. Civil aviation aircraft must be destroyed when it passes through Kunming. After receiving the secret message, Tan Furen was in a state of confusion and came up with a compromise. The next day, the Air Force War Room of the Kunming Military Region reported to Tan that a civilian aircraft was found flying from Myanmar to Kunming. Tan Furen immediately ordered four fighter jets to take off, forcibly intercept the target civil aircraft and make an emergency landing at Kunming Airport. Tan Furen, who was guarding the airport, never expected that it would be Zhou Enlai who appeared at the door of this Chinese civil aircraft!
As Zhou Enlai walked down the gangway, he severely criticized Tan Furen and said: “Why did you make an emergency landing of my special plane? Who instigated you to do this?!” Zhou Enlai immediately ordered Tan Furen to write a report to the central government and explain clearly. Afterwards, Zhou Enlai immediately returned to Beijing on a special plane.
Xie Fuzhi,Li Tianyouadmiralwas shot
In 1972, two generals, Xie Fuzhi and Li Tianyou, were shot dead in Dongsi Archway, Beijing.
Xie and Li were riding in the same car and passed by the Dongsi Archway. The killer, who was waiting on an elevated vehicle repairing cables by the Dongsi Archway, took advantage of the moment when Xie and Li’s car was blocked by several prison cars passing in front and stopped driving. Li Tianyou was hit in the head and died on the spot. Xie Fuzhi was shot in the gallbladder and was rushed to the Capital Hospital where he died. The murderer fled the scene in two cars that had been parked at the corner.
These two cars did not have license plates. Only Unit 8341 had unlicensed cars at that time, and they were special vehicles for entering and exiting Tiananmen Square. The prison van was also arranged in advance. Witness Yang Chengzhong was the accountant of Beijing No. 105 Grain and Oil Food Store in Dongsi Archway at the time. He happened to be doing business in the store at the time of the crime and witnessed the entire process. Yang later immigrated to the United States.
Major General Li Zhenhanged

Li Zhen, who succeeded Xie Fuzhi as Minister of Public Security, was “hanged” from a thermal pipe in the tunnel from Zhongnanhai to Tiananmen between 11 and 12 am on October 20, 1973. This secret passage is only available to Mao, Lin, and Zhou Zhou. Zhou Xujiang Qing, Chen Yi, Chen Boda and Kang Sheng used it. Others include Xie Fuzhi, Li Zhen and Wang Dongxing.
On October 21, 1973, Deputy Minister of Public Security Yu Sang reported that Minister of Public Security Li Zhen was missing. His body was found in the thermal tunnel room in the secret tunnel leading to Tiananmen Square in Zhongnanhai. The thermal tunnel room was less than 1.5 meters high and could only accommodate one person squatting. Li Zhen was kneeling on the ground with a rope hanging from the thermal tunnel. Li was tall and good at martial arts. He “committed suicide” in this posture, which was very difficult for anyone to do. Unless Li Zhen has special acrobatic abilities. In fact, he was strangled to death in a tunnel and then made to look like suicide.
Major General Li Zhen was born in the second field. He was once Deng Xiaoping’s favorite general and later became Xie Fuzhi’s confidant. Xie Fuzhi was appointed minister and Li Zhen was appointed deputy minister and leader of the Second Central Project Review Team. After Xie’s death, Li took over as minister.
General Xu Caihou knew too much and died from drug withdrawal
Jiang Zemin was worried that if Xu Caihou confessed, it would be a fatal blow to Jiang, so he immediately came up with a solution to stop Xu Caihou from taking his medication. (Internet picture)
On March 16, 2015, Xinhua News Agency released a brief news: On March 15, 2015, Xu Caihou died in the hospital due to terminal bladder cancer, multiple metastases throughout the body, multiple organ failure, and ineffective treatment.
Bowen News exclusively disclosed in 2016 that Xu Caihou died after being ordered to stop taking medication by the top management because he had too many inside stories about the CCP’s top brass, and in order to protect himself, he had recorded and preserved the details of the transfer and exchange of benefits with the top brass over the years. .
General Xu Caihou, a close confidant promoted by Jiang Zemin, knew more than Guo Boxiong, and Xu Caihou had already intended to explain everything at that time. It is likely that Xu Caihou told the task force that he had recorded interest transactions with higher-level leaders for many years.
According to insiders, Jiang Zemin was worried that once Xu Caihou confessed, it would be a fatal blow to Jiang. Then he figured out a way to stop taking the drug, with the goal of making Xu die quickly.
Zhang Yangadmiraldeath by hanging
On the day Zhang Yang (middle) died, one of his former guards said he was being treated. After the guards left, they found Zhang Yang hanging to death. (Image source: Getty Images)
On November 28, 2017, the CCP officially issued news confirming that Zhang Yang, former member of the Central Military Commission and former director of the Political Work Department of the Central Military Commission, hanged himself. This is the first time that an official has publicly confirmed that a “military tiger” committed suicide. In recent years, there have been frequent incidents of suspected suicides of CCP army lieutenant generals out of fear of crime, but most of them have not been officially confirmed.
On the day of Zhang Yang’s death, one of his former guards claimed that he was being treated. After the guards left, they found Zhang Yang hanging to death.
The analysis said that judging from the plot described, it is questionable. Because suicide by hanging is a method of death by suffocation, it usually lasts for several minutes and creates a lot of noise. When dealing with a general like Zhang Yang, the person who comes to the door is usually someone with rich experience in handling cases from the Military Commission for Discipline Inspection, who should be prepared for the suspect’s sudden suicide. Zhang Yang may have been silenced by people from his own faction.
