There will eventually be a war in the Taiwan Strait
Master Buxu was in Tiantai Mountain, drinking clouds of clouds in the morning to quench his thirst, and eating jade dew at night to satisfy his hunger. After nine years of facing the wall, he finally completed the practice.
After completing the work, he wrote 12 prophetic poems, and the 10th poem talks about the horrors of the war:
The red clouds are shining, the white clouds are steaming,
Falling flowers and flowing water are ruthless,
All the sea water is red,
White bones are like hills covered with hills,
The Prime Minister’s Jade Rabbit gradually rises to the east.
“The waters of the four seas are all red, and the hills are covered with white bones like hills.” However, in recent years, it seems that with the protection of gods, many predicted disasters have not come, or the major disasters have become minor. So we all might as well pray together, hoping that this prophecy about war will not come true.
Fortunately, after the war, like many other prophecies, good times came. The last sentence, “The Prime Minister, the Jade Rabbit, gradually rises to the east” predicts the imminent appearance of a “Jade Rabbit Saint”.
But not everyone can enter a bright future. Let’s see what poem 11 says:
The coffin is sealed and the merits and crimes are divided.
Seeing peace in the vast ocean,
The events of a century are like a dream,
The golden powder and peaceful spring of the Southern Dynasty,
Thousands of miles of mountains and rivers are green everywhere.
We can see that before “Peace”, there is also a process of “settling the coffin and dividing merit and guilt”, that is, after all the dust has settled, people will be distinguished according to their “merits” and “crimes”. This is very much like the “last judgment” spoken of in the Bible. The final judgment prophesied in the Bible is a test that everyone must pass and no one can escape. After the judgment, a person can enter the future world, go to the extremely beautiful “New Jerusalem”, or he may be sent to the lake of fire in hell. So in the East, do people also have to go through such a process of judgment before they can enter the future?
No matter what, the peaceful days have finally come. “The Southern Dynasties are golden and peaceful in spring, and thousands of miles of mountains and rivers are green everywhere.” Nanjing has another name called “Golden Powder of the Six Dynasties”, which describes the prosperous appearance of this ancient capital of the Six Dynasties. Therefore, the “Southern Dynasty Golden Powder” here should refer to the old capital of the Republic of China, Nanjing. So could it be said that if Taiwan gained the upper hand in the war, the Republic of China would still have its capital in Nanjing? It’s not impossible. Let’s look at the next sentence: “Thousands of miles of mountains and rivers are green everywhere.” As I said just now, China under the rule of the CCP is “covered with red flowers.” But now it’s “green everywhere”. What is the flag of the Republic of China? The sky is blue and the ground is red. Could the word “green” in this sentence refer to the flag of the Republic of China?
The Jade Rabbit Sage appears
It is worth noting that no matter who ultimately prevails, a change of dynasties seems inevitable. The “saints” who appeared in many prophecies also appeared in Master Buxu’s prophecies without exception. Let’s look at the last poem:
When the world is divided into three parts, a sage appears. His crown is black and his clothes are spread like a dragon.
The heaven and earth are restored to brightness, and all things are dealt with. The four seas sing and receive its blessings.
It is talking about a situation where the world will be divided into three major forces. And the “saints” who appeared in many prophecies also appeared. Combined with what is written in the tenth poem, “The Jade Rabbit gradually rises to the east”, this “sage” should be a rabbit and come from the east. “The crown is black, and the clothes are embroidered with dragons.” That means the saint has black hair and wears clothes embroidered with dragons. Since ancient times, dragon robes can only be worn by emperors. Therefore, this “sage” is probably also a “son of emperor”, with the virtues of a saint, occupying the position of emperor, and everything in the world is under his rule. Thanks to his blessing, everyone lived a good life, so they sang carols to express their sincere praise for him. This is “the world sings praises and receives its blessings”.
And Master Buxu’s prophecy ended here, fixed in this beautiful era.
A great scholar in the late Qing Dynasty predicted the division of China
Yu Yue was a Jinshi during the Daoguang period. He once worked in the Hanlin Academy, but he was upright and did not adapt to the official environment. He returned to his hometown to write books at a very young age. Zhang Taiyan, a famous thinker in the Republic of China, and Wu Changshuo, a seal carver, were both his disciples.
Although Yu Yue is in the countryside, he still has the world in his heart. He often says that he has three major worries about the future. “One is that China’s name will be replaced. One is that the way of Confucius will be abolished. The other is that the fate of heaven and earth will come to an end.” That is to say, China will change dynasties in the future and deviate from the way of Confucius and Mencius. In the end, heaven and earth will no longer exist, and the end will come.
Looking back a hundred years later, it was indeed God’s prophecy. What is rare is that Yu Yue also proposed a solution, which is to “restore the ancients and rejuvenate”, learn from Mencius and “implement benevolent government”, and follow Mencius’ principle of “the people are the most important, the country is second, and the king is the least important”, that is, the monarch should regard the people as the most important. Put the people before yourself, love the people and protect the people’s rights.
In fact, from the Han Dynasty, Confucianism was respected, to the Qing Dynasty and even the Republic of China, emperors and rulers of all generations basically followed Mencius’s “people-oriented” thinking and governed the country with Confucian ideas. There is a textbook in Taiwan called “Cultural Textbook”, which was a required course for high school students until 2016. The content is selected from the “Four Books” of Confucian classics, including The Analects of Confucius and Mencius, and the themes are all selected from benevolence and filial piety, etiquette and music, human nature, conscience, gentlemen and villains.
It’s just that in mainland China, Confucius was overthrown for many years, and Confucianism has long been on the sidelines. This fact is rarely mentioned in textbooks. People no longer know the true history.
In 1907, before his death, Yu Yue wrote nine more poems and said to his son, “The general trend of the country and the world in the next two hundred years are all contained in these nine poems.”
The first five poems cover everything from the fall of the Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China, the two world wars, the founding of China and the Cultural Revolution. Let’s take a look at what Yu Yue said about the future:
“There are several houses of jade and silk and a few soldiers, and we can see the style of the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period. I sigh that there was no control at that time, and the uncertainty of the fate will end.”
“Jade and silk” represent peace, and “rong” represents war. The “Spring and Autumn and Warring States style” means that in the future, China may be divided into small independent political powers, fighting each other like the Spring and Autumn and Warring States periods. The British prophet Parker predicted last year that China would break up and function like Europe today, which really coincides with Yu Yue’s prediction 100 years ago.
After this:
“Snails and barbarians are fighting year after year, and Heaven’s benevolent heart also shows mercy; as soon as the six dragons emerge from the heaven and earth, eight hundred princes worship in front of the palace.”
“Snail touch” refers to the tentacles of a snail, which is a metaphor for the insignificance of human beings. After everyone got tired of fighting, the right man, who was “benevolent” in nature, finally appeared. In ancient times, the emperor’s chariot had six horses, so the emperor’s chariot was called “six dragons”. “As soon as the six dragons emerge from the universe,” the emperor appears to rule the world again.
“From now on, Hua Xu returned to the world. He practiced martial arts and cultivated literature and music with more than enough skills. He watched the funeral ceremony on the wall of the river and the bridge, and visited the posthumous notes on the wall of the mountain rock house.”
Huaxu is an utopia governed by inaction in ancient mythology, which is also the utopia in Laozi’s mind. “From now on, the world is rich and beautiful, and there is more than enough time to practice martial arts and culture.” It means that under the rule of the new emperor, there will be no arms race, culture and education will be promoted, everyone will be happy, and the utopia of doing nothing will appear in the world. People began to restore ancient traditions, “watching waste rituals” to revive abandoned rituals, and “visiting posthumous books” to search for ancient books.
Coincidentally, this poem is very similar to the forty-seven images in “Tui Bei Tu”. The forty-seven statues predicted a Ziwei emperor, saying, “If you practice martial arts and cultivate literature, the Ziwei star will shine brightly.” The emperor also “so that he can read many old books and be wise when he speaks out his righteous words.” Could the “old book” here be the same kind of book as the “suicide note” in Yu Yue’s prophecy?
